Roy founded Strategic Advocacy, a multi-state public affairs management company that engages in lobbying, grassroots organizing and political campaigns. Prior to that Roy helped start the Maine Heritage Policy Center and also worked for the Maine State Legislature for over 10 years. He served as a committee analyst for three legislative committees and also as the Chief of Staff in the Maine Senate. Roy now lives in Naples Florida with his first wife, Joanne and has two grown children – Chirstine and Anders. Thankfully both were raised in the south and actually have manners –unlike their Yankee father.
