Jennifer Butler's lifelong belief in self-sufficiency and free markets led her to State Policy Network and her current role as Senior Policy Advisor. She is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with national and issue-focused groups.

Ms. Butler has over 20 years of experience in the public policy arena and running campaigns. Prior to joining SPN, she headed up several trade associations' government affairs departments in South Florida where she was an advocate for private property rights, advancement of homeownership opportunities, and limiting government interference with commercial and residential development. She has also lobbied on issues related to the restaurant industry, prison privatization, and health care.

A graduate of the Political Science department at Florida State University, she went on to earn her Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in Administrative Law from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.
