Greg Walcher is the author of Smoking Them Out: the Theft of the Environment, and How to Take it Back, writes a weekly newspaper column on natural resources issues, and publishes a blog called “Resources and Reality” with several thousand subscribers. A former secretary of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, his consulting firm specializes in public lands, water, energy, mining, forestry, and wildlife. He is also a consultant to The Armstrong Project in Denver, serves on the boards of the Energy and Environment Legal Institute, the Policy Advisory Board of the Heartland Institute, and is a Centennial Institute Fellow at Colorado Christian University.
