This workshop will introduce participants to the Doing Business North America (DBNA) report by the Center for the Study of Economic Liberty (CSEL) at Arizona State University (ASU). This project provides objective measures of business regulations in more than 100 cities across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. It ranks those cities on the basis of the obstacles the city and state governments put in the way of starting and operating a business. This session will outline the results of the study and walk participants through the project website, which includes downloadable data that SPN organizations can use. Participants will have time to discuss tools that can be added to future editions of the study to make it even more useful.
